Thank you Shannon for all your hard work. I'm so blessed with the amazing horses you have found for me.
Shannon will match any horse and rider properly so they can both rise to the top of their sport. Gives the timid rider perfect confidence and the confident rider and horse the chance to rise to any level they wish. I highly recommend Shannon's advice, training, lessons, clinics and riding to any level of horse and rider.

Thank you Shannon and Infinity Sport Horse for finding the perfect horse for my program. We love her.
Granted, I have not personally known Shannon for any length of time, so I felt unsure whether my recommendation would be taken seriously. Then again, after recently observing Shannon’s interaction with both the horses and students under herdirection, I knew immediately this is one uniquely gifted horsewoman. And that Grace is the most beautiful and talented horse I’ve laid eyes upon. Trust me: I’ve been around the ring/course many a year. I put in an offer to purchase that same evening, because with all of your being, you just know. With her honest and compassionate guidance (insert here if you wish) ***along with my trainer/ Grace’s breeder Pamela Prince***, this senior horsewoman is now blessed to once again realize the gift of a dream come true. What simply began as a delightful afternoon watching other fellow horse-smitten folks ride has now provided me the opportunity to share to joy of owning a horse once again! So confident in Shannon’s skills in guiding both Grace and me as we grow together, I made my decision to purchase based, as well, upon retaining Shannon as her primary trainer, with whom Grace will remain this summer, and then return to her expert care next spring. Time doesn’t matter when it comes to the innate passion held deeply in one’s heart. You simply know it’s just right when you find someone as gifted as Shannon Elizabeth!
Barb Pickl, honored to be a part of the amazing “Team Grace”!
Best trainer ever! Thank you for helping me get my confidence back!
THANK YOU! Infinity Sport Horse for providing me with great shareboarders! You have always been so professional and have some of the most down to earth customers!
I had the pleasure of riding under Ms. Riley during her jumping clinics over the months of December – March of 2011/12. Ms. Riley impressed me as a dedicated, talented equestrian and trainer as well as a responsible and caring professional. Ms. Riley has the artistic flow and ability to make a hard thing look easy and beautiful; she catches the eye of anyone who has the pleasure to watch her ride. She is not only pure talent, but has the passion and heart to really go to the top of her profession.
Though I have only known Shannon Riley for a mere 4 months, this ambitious trainer has done wonders for the improvement of equestrian sport in the local Chicago suburbs.
She offers extremely reasonable rates, with a vast and knowledgeable horse experience, both in competition and horsemanship itself, that far surpasses that of the relativity of price. Furthermore, Shannon provides an excellent style of communication with her students, both human and equine. She understands that students of different ages and personalities each learn and progress differently; she is sure to incorporate varied methods of explanation when instructing or training, so as to provide the optimal learning environment for the horse and rider.
I have watched Shannon grow over the years from competing at all levels of eventing
to now training horses and riders of all levels. Shannon is an amazing rider and has an
amazing ability to work with both horse and rider to achieve the respective goals and full potential of both horse and rider.
As a full member with colors with the Wayne DuPage Fox Hunt and The Cornwall
Hounds of Elizabeth IL, I have also enjoyed fox hunting with Shannon and watching her introduce young horses to their first fox-hunt which is no easy task at times.
I personally trust the training of my horses to Shannon and also enjoy training with her
especially in the Cross-Country field.
It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I am writing to endorse Shannon Riley. For the last 12 years at Full Gallop Farm, I have been an event organizer, competitor, farm owner and rider sponsor. I have also in some capacity been, a rider, trainer and farm owner for over 35 years. I hope my perspective will be helpful to you as you evaluate this exceptional person, trainer, and rider. My first contact with Shannon was during the winter of 2014, when she came down to train and compete a few horses. I watched with a curious eye during the winter. Shannon never stopped amazing me. She ran her barn, organized the horses and students as well as training several horses. She took a catch ride on two of my horses for two different events and did an outstanding job with both of them. I could see right away the talent and love she had with training horses. Her creative ideas for working with all types of horses were not only inventive and entertaining; they were also astonishingly effective. Shannon is always endorsing and praising the companies and individuals that supported her. She is a fantastic advocate for whichever product she endorses. She genuinely believes in the products and the people that sponsor her and it is very apparent in the passion she displays. Though our relationship has not been a long one we enthusiastically decided to partner up with this talented young trainer and rider. Full Gallop has become a partner with her and her infinity sport horse brand. Shannon has already been involved with the sales of 4 of our horses along with heading up their training. I have worked with and observed a diverse variety of riders and trainers over the years. Shannon is a patient and a clear teacher to the horses she works with. Shannon has a special gift, she has an extremely intuitive eye. She seems to be able to diagnose a problem, works through it and finds a way to solve it without any drama. She has the ability to know when to drive and pushthe horse and when to pick the most positive moment so that the horses are not discouraged or frustrated. The respect and kindness she shows to the horses she works with is nothing but inspiring. This is something I feel has been lost sometimes in our overly competitive world.Even more impressive I have seen her make decisions for the good of the horse first hand, even if it meant losing valuable entry fees. Shannon is an independent, self directed person who is able to communicate effectively and meet even the most demanding challenges. Shannon leads by example and many people find her enthusiasm and dedication both inspiring and motivating. I have the greatest admiration for her skills and ability as a rider, trainer and marketer. Shannon has consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic and a dedication to success.
Her efforts have produced high quality results time and time again with horses of all ages, backgrounds, and training. We looking forward to continuing and expanding our partnership with Shannon and we cannot wait to be a part of future accomplishments. If you have the chance to work with Shannon I would highly recommend you take that opportunity.

Since then, she’s been very supportive of me and my riding by giving me lessons in return for services such as body clipping and jump painting. She also promotes my services in return to her clients and I’ve gotten some other jobs from her reference. It means a lot to someone starting out in a new place to have someone give you a chance, no matter how insignificant it may be. Riding with Shannon has given me the confidence to go out and promote myself in my new environment as a horsewoman. I’m thrilled to get the chance to do the same for her.
In training her horses, Shannon takes a very individualized approach – each horse gets its own training program custom fit to them and their abilities and needs. She is very gentle and patient with them helping them grow to their own potential. While her main focus is eventing with a specialty in working with “off the track thoroughbreds”, she has had success placing horses in a variety of different homes working with other disciplines. She works with her clients and their horses to decide what route is the best for them.
In teaching her students, Shannon is the epitome of patience. Instead of yelling or getting frustrated if a concept is not landing with a student, she will stop the lesson entirely to explain it a different way and then have the student start fresh. There is no intimidation required; she gives her students and horses the utmost respect and compassion. She also has a great talent for translating all of her training with top riders and trainers to students of all levels from just those just starting out to top level riders preparing for a season of competing.
Though she is still young, Shannon runs her business with the wisdom of someone twice her age. She is becoming more and more recognized in our area as a “go-to” person if you need a safe and trustworthy mount for almost any discipline and in sponsoring her, your business would have access to several different areas of the horse industry in Northern Illinois and Florida as she hopes to take her business on the road in the future.
As someone who works in sales at a high profile company, I barely have time to catch my breath, much less drive from the city to the barn. Desperate to get back in to horses again, I decided to become an owner and shelve my 4* dreams. I found a very underweight, 8 year old OTTB on the track in WV that I fell in love with from a photo and a trot video. I instantly called up Shannon and asked if she wanted a ride. I had the horse shipped in the middle of the night, sight unseen to Shannon, and she exceeded all expectations in the whirlwind purchase. Shannon has handled everything from day one, and I have never had one worry. When I finally met the horse a month later, he went on the bit, jumped, and had impeccable ground manners. His skin problems has cleared up, he gained tons of weight, was starting to get a shine to his coat, and had great looking feet. And it has been smooth sailing since. Shannon has made it so easy to own a horse and is great to work with. From late night text messages, to humoring my overbearing requests, to being gracious enough to allow me to travel with her to schoolings and events, I couldn't imagine keeping a horse with anyone else. On top of it all, they are showing potential to go to the upper levels together. I am counting down the days until we go to Fair Hill, Bromont, and even Rolex. And in 10 years when he is ready to retire from upper levels, I will have an immaculately trained horse to ride. I have ridden many horses that Shannon put the initial training on, and I have not sat on a horse that is more responsive, fluid, flexible, and well mannered than one she has trained. And I have trained and ridden horse with Olympic riders abroad! Thank you, Shannon for helping me reach my dreams and making it so smooth and simple.
Thank you for finding and helping me buy a new horse for my daughter. Shannon made everything such a smooth and easy process. We have been looking for months until,I found infinity sports horses, as soon as I met Shannon I felt at ease and i knew that I could trust her. Shannon was more concerned with finding the right horse for my daughter than focussing on the monetary aspect of the sale....that is something I was extremely impressed with. We found the perfect horse for my daughter and the transaction/purchase was smooth, comfortable and I never felt pressure to buy. Shannon even went out of her way to school the horse with my daughter to ensure that their partnership was balanced. I have since recommended infinity sports horses to anyone I know looking for a good horse from a trustworthy seller and I will continue to sing her praises.......infinity sports horses gets five stars from the beginning to the end. We love love love our new horse and look forward to a successful career in eventing. Thanks Shannon...you are an attribute to your profession!!
